Materials & Finish
I work mainly in solid oak for premium display pieces and gifts — oak engraves beautifully, with a striking contrast between the cut areas and the natural grain. For pieces that will be painted, or for business signage, I use MDF which gives a consistent, smooth finish. I also work in a range of other hardwoods depending on the finish you want.
All pieces can be finished with oil, wax or left natural depending on where they'll be used. Outdoor pieces are sealed for weather resistance.

Once you're happy with the design, most pieces are ready within 2–3 days. You can collect from Reading or I can arrange local delivery across Reading and Berkshire.
